Google Provides

AdSense formats

Google offers lots of formats for your ads. I can't show them in this post but you can find out more about them at https://www.google.com/adsense/static/en_US/AdFormats.html
You should pick the one that fits in best with your existing page structure unless during the review process you decide to undertake a major re-vamp!
Google allows multiple formats across your site but until recently only allowed you to place one block of ads on each page. This has now increased to 3 blocks on the same page. Having said that it is your responsibility to check that how you are using AdSense complies with Google's rules and they do change from time to time.

As soon as you enter your adsense account and clicked on Adsense Set Up buton and then to Adsense for Content,You will come to the Ad_Formats wizard. Google has produced different Ad Formats viz 1.Horizontal 2. Vertical and 3. Square.

Inside these three headings, there is also different formats which you can use according to your website or blog.

1.Horizontal

i) 728 X 90 Leader Board,
ii) 468 X 60 Banner,
iii) 234 X 60 Half Banner.

2. Vertical

i) 120 X 600 Skyscraper,
ii) 160 X 600 Wide Skyscraper,
iii) 120 X 240 Vertical Banner.
and

3. Square.

i) 336 X 280 Large Rectangle,
ii) 300 X 250 Medium Rectangle,
iii) 250 X 250 Square,
iv) 200 X 200 Small Square,
v) 180 X 150 Small Rectangle,
vi) 125 X 125 Button.

Color schemes

Google lets you specify what colors the ads will appear in and there are two schools of thought about what is best. You can design ads so that they fit well with your existing web design. Or you can make the ads stand out strongly by choosing a markedly different color palette.
You can now get sufficiently high resolution statistics from Google to find out which ads work best on your site.

Google has pre-designed colour palettes from which you can make your ads suited to your website or blog.

Pasting code

This is either easy for you or difficult! If you routinely look at the HTML in your web pages, the process is straightforward: just locate where in the page you want the ads to go and paste the code in.
If HTML is a foreign language you'll need some help to begin with. Practically, the best way forward is to experiment a bit. Put the code in, have a look at the page (and Google will immediately start posting ads on the page although they may not be context-targeted to begin with - more on this later.) If you like what you see, stick with it. If not, move it around, use a different format (go back to your AdSense control panel) and do it again.

What happens next

As soon as your new page is viewed, Google gets alerted to its existence and sends out some ads. Now if Google doesn't know anything about the page you will see so-called Public Service ads which are about charities and so on. However, in around 15 minutes (it's that fast) you will start to see ads that are context-targeted. They will be more relevant to your page.
But this will only happen if Google can work out what your page is about, so check that the copy makes it clear and that the page title, headings and meta tags are consistent and valid.

You can see the loads money coming UP.

PPC

PPC-Pay Per Click

PPC reflects to pay per click which means how much will you earn if some body clicks ad/s in your website or blogs. I also dont have answer of this question but i know which ads get more revenue if clicked in comparision. So May i Help you all Publishing the things.

Google AdSense is a pay per click advertising network, the biggest one at the moment. It’s not just the most famous through all websites all around the Internet, but it also offers the highest CPC(cost per click). Yeah, i know, if you are familiar with AdSense you will find this post a little bit hilarious, but many people owning a websites still don’t know about this nice service.

How does it work? Well Google AdSense is a program for website owners. It means those who have administrative rights on a website may enroll into this program, copy & paste the code for the ads to be displayed and then voila, when a visitor clicks on the AdSense advertisement, the publisher (the webmaster who created and manipulates the Google AdSense account) is automatically credited with some amount of money. The cost per click is not a stable value, as random ads are displayed, which have different prices. But beware! If you decide to take part in the Google AdSense program as a publisher, do never try to click on your own ads! Doing so you may risk (very certainly) to have your account blocked. And also, do not try to include your website in some sort of traffic generator systems, because Google does not allow ads to be run on websites with artificial traffic. Usually Google will be kind and send you an email telling you that your website has some suspicious activity and asking you to do something about. The second email won’t be .
But where does the money come from? Well, Google has another program for advertisers called AdWords .AdSense is for publishers; AdWords is for advertisers. Those people who are interested in promoting some kind of program or service or something else may enroll into the Google AdWords program. Then they will set a campaign for something, create an ad, set the price and allocate some money for that ad and then when everything was done, the ads will start showing on the publisher’s websites. From here you already know what happens.

Why choose Google AdSense? There are many positive arguments that make Google AdSense to be the best choice for both advertisers and publishers. For advertisers: it is easy to choose the best keywords and prices for them, because Google has it’s own Keyword Tool which is one of the best or may be the best one, as the Overture has been closed; many publishers use AdSense to monetize their websites, so with AdWords it is easier to reach a bigger audience, which means more possible customers; ads will be shown only on those pages containing the same keywords as your ads ones, that means advertisers will receive more traffic from interested people in your product/service, without the money being lost on invalid clicks. Now for publishers: Google AdSense will show only those ads which are related to your web-page’s content, that means you have a better chance to have more clicks which means more money; AdSense does not allow ads with improper contents (p0rn, warez or any other harmful material), so your website is safe to use for all type of audience; AdSense is the most popular advertising program on the Internet so costs per click are the highest, that means you will get more money with AdSense than with other advertising networks; recently Google added a nice feature to manage your ads within you administration page, that means no more useless time spent on changing all your code in your pages manually; and finally the Google Checks: they are always sent on time and it’s a joy to see them in you mailbox .

CTR

CTR= click Through Rate

CTR means the the percentage of people that view pages with ads & click on them.

- CTR varies between topics - one of the things I learned in my early days with Adsense after using it on multiple blogs was that despite having the same design on a different blogs, CTR could vary incredibly between one blog and another. One of the reasons for this is simply the topic of the blog. For example some Adsense publishers find that sites with products as a topic tend to get better CTR than sites with non product related topics. They argue that people are more likely to click an advertisment if they are in buying mode and see an ad that might meet their need.

- CTR relates to Ad relevancy - if I have a blog about ballpoint pens that has ads for ballpoint pens I have a higher chance of a click than if my ballpoint pen blog has ads for dog food on it. In most cases, the more relevant ads are to the topic of your content - the more likely you are to get clicks. Reasons for ad irrelevancy vary between blogs and might be something that is to do with your blog design (too many uses of the word ‘blog’ for instance triggers blog ads on virtually any topic) , your topic (some topics are difficult for Google to discern) or some problem at Google’s end (I’ve heard of one or two cases where bloggers have written to Google to ask about irrelevant ads and Google have made some changes to fix it).

- CTR can vary seasonaly - for example - many blogs report higher CTR on weekends (but lower impressions). Some find that holidays or the lead up to them (eg Christmas) can produce large variations in CTR. These variations can vary from blog to blog considerably.

- CTR varies between reader types - It is well documented that blogs and websites with high levels of loyal (repeat) readers tend to get lower CTR than sites with higher levels of search engine traffic. As I’ve written recently - this is because loyal readers can become blind to your ad positioning and design and because SE readers tend to be searching for some specific information that they often want to take some action over - this puts them in a hightened information gathering mode and more likely to click on an ad. Another reader type variation is readers being referred from other sites. I find that these sorts of readers can go either way depending upon what the site referring is but generally CTR is lower. For instance when I get a link from Slashdot I generally expect a pretty low CTR as such a link brings masses of traffic from some pretty tech savy readers who in general don’t click ads much.

- CTR varies between ad design and placement options - one massive factor for CTR is the positioning and design of your ads. For example if you put your Adsense ad at the bottom of your page where no one will see it you’ll get a very low CTR - whereas if you position it in a spot where it will be seen it will get clicked on more. The same goes for the colors you choose - select the right colors and you’ll improve CTR.

- CTR varies depending upon other site design factors - you can impact the CTR of your ads by using other visual factors. You need to be careful here not to be seen to be encouraging your readers to click ads - but many Adsense publishers have found subtle ways to draw their readers eyes to ad using images, shapes, color etc. One good tip that doesn’t break Adsense TOS is to use spaces around your ads. Studies have shown that ads tend to perform better on a white background with white space around it.

- CTR varies depending upon other options to ‘click’ - if your page has no outbound links except for your Adsense ads - the chances are increased that those will be the links that people click on. I was chatting with one person last week who has such a site. He is able to drive traffic to pages on his site with useful content but no other outbound links so that when his readers finish reading his content they either close the browser, hit ‘back’ or click an ad. His CTR was higher on these pages than on others. Of course there are downsides of this approach as his blog is very insular and not interlinked which means SEO is difficult for him. Decluttering your blog can increase CTR.

Adwords

What is AdSense?

Google.com earns most of its revenue by allowing other website or blog owners to advertise on their search result pages. All this is managed through a program they call AdWords.

Now you can earn a share of the revenue that Google earns from AdWords by placing these same text ads on your site. In other words, you're helping Google to advertise and they pay you a percentage of what they earn.

This program is called AdSense.

Every website or blog owner should be involved in this. It's just too good of an opportunity to pass up. Even if your site or blog is just for information purposes, you can still participate and make decent money with AdSense -- or at least enough to fund your website.

This program is getting so popular, people are creating websites just to display the ads and profit from Google's AdSense alone.

I don't usually like to use the term "easy money" because there really is no such thing. You still have to create your own website and learn how to bring in traffic in order to make good money with this program.
I certainly don't want to make it sound like you get something for doing absolutely nothing. There's no such thing.

However, I've got to say that AdSense is probably the closest you'll ever come to fast money on the Internet -- especially if you already have a website that gets a good amount of traffic.

What's even better...the program is completely free. You can also use it on multiple websitesor blogs and there is no limit to the amount you can earn.
